Manager digests

A daily or weekly summary of what still needs you — when mail is on.

Managers get a digest of pending approvals and open tasks. Daily or weekly. The email goes out when mail is configured. This is team attention mail — not a chat product, not a campaign.

Why it matters

When Maya has two punch exceptions and a leave request sitting, she should see that in one summary — not reconstruct the week from twelve chats. When mail is off, the same queue is still in the product.

Staffquorum manager digests are a daily or weekly summary of work already in the manager queue: time exceptions, pending leave, open tasks on the team. When outbound mail is configured, that summary goes to the manager of record. When mail is off, they still work the queue in the product — we do not claim every workspace already sends. Birthdays that stay private still live on manager tools. This is not a notification platform, not a chat product, not a campaign engine. We will not rank other products on this page. Approvals still happen in the queue. The digest is how they find what still needs them.

On the record

What you get in Staffquorum.

  • Daily or weekly summary of pending approvals and open tasks.
  • Time exceptions and leave requests from the same manager queue.
  • Email to the manager of record when mail is configured.
  • When mail is off, the queue is still in the product. We do not claim every workspace already sends.
  • HR-only notes stay off the digest. Birthdays stay private — those live on manager tools.
  • Not a chat tool, campaign engine, or real-time notification platform.

How it runs

A week in this workflow.

  1. 01

    Assign the manager

The reporting line on the employee file decides who sees the queue and who gets the digest.

  2. 02

    Work accumulates

Punch exceptions, leave requests, open tasks. They sit on the same queue Maya already runs.

  3. 03

The digest lands — or they open the queue

If mail is configured, a daily or weekly summary goes to the manager of record. If mail is off, they still open the product. Approvals happen there, not in the email.

Who uses it

Built for the jobs you already have.

Front-line supervisors who miss the queue

Maya closes hours on Friday. Two exceptions sat since Monday. The digest is how she sees them before the week is a rebuild.

Workspaces that have not turned mail on

The same summary is the manager queue. We will not pretend SMTP is already live on every file.
